READ THE COLOR, NOT THE WORD

Beat the reflex.

Each card shows a color word printed in some ink. On an Ink card, answer the color of the ink and ignore what the word says. When they clash, your brain wants to read the word. That pull is the Stroop effect, and resisting it is the game.

From level 3 the rule flips between runs of cards. A Rule flip screen announces each change, and the clock waits while it shows. During a Word run the card wears a light frame: answer what the word says and ignore the ink.

60-second Sprint
The next card appears the moment you answer right. Levels bring more clashing cards after 6 right answers, rule flips after 14, and quicker flips after 24. A miss shows the right color for 0.85s.
Scoring
A right answer is worth 10 points (15 on a Word card), plus 5 within 1 second, times your multiplier. The multiplier grows every 5 right answers in a row, up to 4×. A miss costs 2 seconds and resets it.
