About the test

Complete the grid.

Every puzzle is new, built from rules and then checked by a solver so exactly one choice fits. Each row of three panels follows the same rules, separately for shape, colour, fill, size, direction, inner mark, number and position:

Same
The value doesn’t change along a row.
Step
It changes by the same amount each time: one more side, one size bigger, a turn of 45° or 90°, one more shape, or one place along.
Three of each
Every row uses the same three values, like three colours or three fills, in a different order.
Add or take away
In harder puzzles, the third panel can be the first two combined, the first without the second, or only what appears in exactly one of them.
The challenge
20 puzzles climb all 10levels, two at each. Answers lock in, and the end shows a rough IQ estimate and every puzzle’s rules. The estimate borrows the Matrices norms, since generated puzzles aren’t normed, so treat it as provisional. Practice draws single puzzles from one difficulty, with the answer shown straight away.
